HIKING THE LYCIAN WAY IN THE EAST
Hike one of the world’s most beautiful long-distance trails – along the eastern coast of Lycia between Fethiye and Antalya.
This journey takes you along selected stages of the Lycian Way through the Olympos National Park. You’ll walk above the turquoise-blue sea, through dense forests filled with oriental strawberry trees, and across wide highlands shaped by traditional grazing. Hidden coves invite you to pause and enjoy the moment.
From the summit of Musa Dağı, you’ll take in breathtaking views of the towering Taurus Mountains. And at the end of your trip, the magical coastline of Kekova awaits – with its countless bays, peninsulas, and islands.
But it’s not just nature that impresses: along the way, you’ll encounter traces of the Lycians, Greeks, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. The Lycian Way leads you past the ruins of once-flourishing ancient cities, now quietly resting in the wilderness. The monumental Lycian tombs stand scattered across the landscape – silent witnesses to a rich and layered history.
